Spring Solar Term Colours春

The six spring solar terms, from Start of Spring to Grain Rain

Start of Spring立春
Rain Water雨水
Awakening of Insects惊蛰
Spring Equinox春分
Pure Brightness清明
Grain Rain谷雨

Spring in the Chinese calendar begins not at the equinox but with 立春, Start of Spring, in early February, and runs through 谷雨, Grain Rain, into late April. Across those six solar terms the country moves from the pale yellows of first light and sprouting leaves, through the dusty purples of willow and blossom, to the saturated greens of rain-fed growth. Read as a sequence, the spring terms tell a story: yellow, then pink-violet, then red, then grey-green, then deep violet, then green. That arc is a gift to a seasonal campaign — it lets a brand move through the season rather than freeze in one colour.
