Origin

The phrase is a Chuci image of river plants with violet stalks and leaf-blades fanning out like a folding screen. Rain Water’s combining colour closes the term at its darkest and most saturated, gathering the four pinks into a single deep note — water, scent, and shadow at the end of a rainy dusk.
