Google is recently claim to re-enter the Chinese search market (project Dragonfly) after 8 years when they left Mainland China citing cyber attacks and censorship. China is a huge market for any business to enter however since Google exiting China, the search engine landscapge has changed a lot.
Now the company is facing even more challenges and competitors from Haosou (AKA 360, the #2 search engine in China), Shenma (the mobile search engine from Alibaba) and Sogou (partnership with Tencent, the biggest social network in China). Not to mention even Bing's staying in China couldn't successfully took much market share from Google. It seems Google has a lot to catch up.
